Protecting People & Projects

“During the winter season, we often work within a 100 mile radius of our Deadhorse location. This works in our favor because the accessibility of our Arctic rated equipment to our northern projects allows for us to call in for reinforcements with little to no lead time. So, while out on an oil exploration project in 2021, we agreed to transport crucial supplies to a village about 60 miles away. The trek to the village was exclusively on the tundra and the weather was deteriorating. Halfway to the village, the all-terrain vehicle we were using malfunctioned and the part needed to repair it was not on hand. We in-reached our company’s mechanics that work in Deadhorse asking for help. The mechanics quickly located the part and delivered it to us, while braving treacherous weather, and repaired the vehicle within a matter of hours. Thanks to our outstanding team and the close proximity of our company’s vast arctic rated resources, we successfully delivered the supplies to the village that night.

This is just one example of the many ways local companies display their Alaskan advantage while benefiting the community at large.”
